QUIET LUXURY

IT'S EVERYWHERE. But first things first, what is quiet luxury? The perfect phrase to sum up the term would be, 'less is more'. Quiet luxury brands are basically the brands that focus on quality and craftsmanship rather than broadcasting the brand's logo and putting it on every single piece of clothing. According to Vogue, the "quiet luxury" is a hard aesthetic to pin down as " It’s less austere than minimalism but more polished than “normcore.” This style emphasises quality craftsmanship over logo branding and short-lived

trends, with brands like The Row, Jil Sander, and Loro Piana leading the charge.

Quiet Luxury is mainly 'elevated basics'. Pieces such as a blazers, power shirts, trousers, maxi skirts, sleek jeans and layering of clothes are the gist of putting together a 'quiet luxury' wardrobe.

Quiet Luxury doesn't really mean associating with high-end brands, rather it's a lifestyle of thoughtful shopping. In this context, the tips given in my previous post can be seen as 'quiet luxury' of sorts as they aim towards building a thoughtful and efficient wardrobe. Basically, choosing timeless pieces over statement ones to achieve the 'old money' aesthetic. We are generally being gravitated towards quiet luxury as it is the epitome of sophistication.
